Job summary

Vector Fleet Management, an Amerit Fleet Solutions Company, is seeking an Automotive Parts Clerk/Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, NC. Compensation: Competitive hourly pay with weekly Friday pay, ranging from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience.

Shift: Wednesday-Saturday, 6:00am–4:00pm. The role offers full benefits within 30 days, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) match, PTO from day 1, safety and training programs, and opportunities for ASE certification

Qualifications

• Must have computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel).
• Solid organizational and people skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Two years’ automotive/fleet parts procurement/distribution experience preferred.
• OEM/ASE parts certification preferred.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Automotive Parts Clerksshould have a minimum of two years’ experience in an automotive/fleet parts procurement/distribution environment, or a combination of trade school and hands‑on experience
• OEM/ASE parts certification preferred
• DesirableAutomotive Parts Clerkswill havesome automotive/fleet technical background
• Must have computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel)
• Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
• Solid organizational and people skills

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
• Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
• Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Ability to move and position heavy objects
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
