Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is hiring a Machine Shop Parts Cleaner for its state-of-the-art facility. This role performs general labor, cleans machined parts, removes burrs, and transfers parts along production lines.

This is a 2nd shift position, with first shift training for 4–6 weeks. Targeted compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour plus shift differential, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft Office familiarity.
• Valid driver's license must be maintained.
• Employment requires U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Review route and process sheets for instructions.
• Remove burrs, chips and casing sand from machined parts.
• Load and unload parts in parts washer.
• Apply rust inhibitor on all cast iron and steel parts.
• Conduct final part count and verify paperwork.
• Package parts for transport to prevent damage.
• Maintain water level and perform routine cleaning/maintenance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and costs.
