Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions, a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, is seeking a Facility Technician for our Virginia Beach, VA facility. This 1st shift role (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) supports HVAC, building maintenance, and equipment systems. Targeted compensation is $22.00–$27.00 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities include HVAC system monitoring, routine maintenance, and assisting with moves and repairs across the facility, with some travel and lift work as needed. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of HVAC experience preferred.
• 2+ years of forklift operating experience preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the building HVAC system.
• Perform scheduled work requests pertaining to the building and grounds.
• Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with office moves, furniture moves, and factory equipment moves.
• Serve as backup for security procedures, including building lock up and opening.
• Work safely at heights using a scissor lift or boom lift and safely operate a forklift.
• Order necessary materials and supplies to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
• Maintain lighting systems throughout the facility.
• Assist with removal of cardboard, scrap, and debris from the building as necessary.
• Assist with maintenance of grounds and properties.
• Assist with manufacturing equipment maintenance when required.
