Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist II for our Virginia Beach facility. You will set up multi-pallet CNC cells, perform complete inspections, and manage tool life and offsets to ensure precision parts and waste reduction. Training provided on first shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

The role requires 4+ years in CNC machining, ability to read G-code, and use precision measuring instruments. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $29.00 per hour with shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of CNC machining experience with tool setting and gauging.
• Ability to read G-code and understand M-code.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspecting parts.
• Associates degree/technical training preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-pallet CNC machining cells per processes.
• Inspect machined parts visually and dimensionally per sheets.
• Verify dimensions with calipers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
• Adjust tooling offsets to maintain accuracy and reduce waste.
• Read and interpret G-code/M-code; troubleshoot machines.
• Schedule cells and run jobs across multi-pallet equipment.
• Identify and resolve machine alarms; perform basic maintenance.
