BMW of Shawnee Mission is seeking a motivated Parts Back Counter Associate to support the Parts Department. You will identify, source, and supply parts, maintain inventory, and help internal departments with part fulfillment.

Ideal candidates have automotive parts experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dealership. This role requires basic computer skills and availability to work Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts experience required.
• Knowledge of automotive components and parts terminology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn dealership management systems.
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts and materials.
• Availability to work Saturdays when required.

Responsabilités

• Assist technicians by identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control processes.
• Process parts requests for Service, Sales, Retail, and Wholesale customers.
• Research part numbers, availability, pricing, and ordering requirements.
• Receive, stock, organize, and manage incoming parts shipments.
• Communicate with vendors, technicians, advisors, and customers regarding parts availability and delivery timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or discrepancies.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards.
