Job summary

VoltaGrid seeks a Warehouse Parts Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Midland, TX. You will assist with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accurate fulfillment and smooth workflow.

No prior experience is required; this on-site role operates on an 11 days on, 3 days off cycle and offers hourly pay plus bonus, health benefits and a 401(k) plan to support employees’ financial and personal well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills to read labels and packing slips.
• Good communication and dependability; reliable and punctual.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to learn warehouse software and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments against packing slips or POs.
• Unload trucks and move items to storage locations.
• Store materials on designated shelves with proper labeling.
• Pick, pack, wrap, and label orders for shipment.
• Stage and load outgoing orders onto trucks.
• Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse environment.
• Report damaged goods or safety hazards to supervisor.

Position Title: WAREHOUSE PARTS ASSOCIATE

Location: MIDLAND, TX

FLSA Class: NON-EXEMPT

Responsible to: INVENTORY MANAGER

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Parts Associate is responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The position supports higher-level staff and ensures the smooth flow of product through the warehouse. 11 Days on, 3 days off. Hourly + Bonus + Health Benefits and 401(k)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments; verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders
• Unload trucks or containers, sort and move items to appropriate storage locations
• Store materials in designated shelves, racks, or bins using proper labeling and organization
• Pick, pack, wrap, and label orders to prepare for shipment
• Stage and load outgoing orders onto trucks or shipping vehicles
• Perform regular inventory counts (cycle counts) and report any discrepancies
• Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet jacks, hand trucks) under supervision
• Request materials for reorder points or requests.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Report damaged goods, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to supervisor

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) preferred
• No prior experience required (though warehouse or logistics experience is a plus)
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull loads (e.g., up to 50 lbs, depending on the facility)
• Basic math and reading skills (to read labels, packing slips, etc.)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills; ability to follow instructions
• Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, climb, and move for extended periods
• Basic computer literacy; ability to learn warehouse management systems or inventory software
