Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Parts Retail Sales Associate in Carlsbad, CA. You will interact with customers and technicians to help them locate and purchase parts, while delivering an exceptional buying experience.

Responsibilities include pricing parts, answering calls, stocking and merchandising, and promoting additional products and services. A strong customer focus and at least 1 year in parts or sales are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in automotive parts department.
• 1 year of sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; organized with good follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Promptly assist technicians and retail guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Obtain correct parts and accessories for technicians and customers promptly.
• Accurately price parts using the proper pricing source and enter data into the system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and satisfy inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location and keep the department organized.
• Provide customers with needed information and upsell opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
