AutoNation is a leading US automotive retailer seeking a USA Parts Associate to manage parts inventory, process daily orders, and support the Parts Manager across multiple stores. You will verify supplies, stock shelves, and ensure accurate credits and returns.

Responsibilities include keeping inventory accurate, placing daily orders, assisting with annual inventory, and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment while upholding AutoNation's standards and values.

Qualifikationen

• At least 6 month experience in After Market Parts environment.
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
• Ability to use parts department computer system, calculator and motor vehicle.

• Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

• Maintains parts inventory by verifying supplies and placing orders when order-points are reached.
• Stocks items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves and adjusting inventory system.
• Receives returned items by inspecting items; re-packing and re-shelving items; returning damaged and unused parts to supplier.
• Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures and complying with codes.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading about new products.
• Place daily parts orders. Assist Parts Manager in processing weekly stock orders.
• Ensure that credits are received for returned parts. Remove returned parts from inventory after credit are received.
• Assist in annual parts returns. Provide necessary information to the Warranty Department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties.
• Match purchase orders and invoices, approve and forward to accounting office.
• File company copies of parts counter invoices.
• Assist in preparing for annual parts inventory.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.

The Autonation USA Parts Associates ensures proper control of the parts inventory and related administrative functions.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
