Safe Industries in Nashville, TN is seeking a reliable Parts Associate to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of parts for service operations. You will source parts, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors to prevent shortages.

You will support technicians and customers with parts inquiries, maintain records, and uphold safety and documentation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license and ability to maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in parts sourcing, vendors, and industry standards.
• Proficiency with ERP and related systems (NetSuite/ServicePro preferred).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in heavy-duty or automotive parts procurement (preferred).
• Experience with NetSuite and ServicePro is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-owned or personal vehicle for authorized business purposes in compliance with laws and policies.
• Source and procure parts in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure parts availability and delivery accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, organization, and replenishment processes.
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or delays impacting service operations.
• Support technicians and service teams by ensuring correct parts are available when needed.
• Assist customers and internal personnel with parts-related inquiries and support needs.
• Maintain purchasing, inventory, and operational records in company systems.
• Support compliance with company processes, inventory controls, and documentation standards.
• Maintain organized and safe parts storage and operational areas.
• Demonstrate urgency, attention to details, and professionalism in daily operations.

Job description

The Parts Associate ensures the availability, accuracy, and timely delivery of parts and inventory to support service operations, contributing directly to operational efficiency, turnaround time, and service quality.

Essential Functions & Core Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-owned vehicle or personal vehicle for authorized business purposes in compliance with applicable laws, company policies, safety requirements, and vehicle-use expectations
• Source and procure parts in a timely and cost-effective manner to support service operations
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure parts availability and delivery accuracy
• Maintain inventory accuracy, organization, and replenishment processes to support operational efficiency
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or delays impacting service operations
• Support technicians and service teams by ensuring correct parts are available when needed
• Assist customers and internal personnel with parts-related inquiries and support needs
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and operational records within company systems

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required, with the ability to maintain an acceptable driving records, required insurance when using a personal vehicle, and company driving authorization
• Strong understanding of parts sourcing, vendors, and industry standards
• Proficiency in business systems, including ERP and other related systems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Education, Certifications, and/or Experience

• High School Diploma/GED high school diploma or equivalent (A higher education degree in business or related field preferred)
• Experience in heavy-duty or automotive parts procurement
• Experience with inventory management and controlProficiency in NetSuite and ServicePro (or similar ERP/FSM platforms) is highly preferred

Physical Demands

Ability to work in office, parts, warehouse, shop, or customer-facing operational environments. This role may require standing, walking, reaching, bending, handling parts or materials, using standard equipment, and occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items consistent with business needs.
