Job summary

Jim Coleman Nissan of Ellicott City is seeking a Parts Associate to join our busy dealership team. You will route parts to Service department technicians, receive and stock inventory, and assist customers with parts in a friendly, professional manner.

Responsibilities include processing parts orders, confirming part numbers, notifying service advisors when orders arrive, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Organize all parts replaced under warranty, and tag with repair order numbers.
• Perform daily inventory checks and assist customers in selecting required parts.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and information, and deliver high level of service.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Notify the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
• Notify the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts.
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Route parts and accessories to Service department technicians.

• Organize all parts replaced under warranty. Ensure parts are properly tagged with repair order number and identifiable by part numbers.
• Perform daily inventory checks. Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Answers phone calls, provide price quotes and other information. Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
