Job summary

Adamec Harley-Davidson of Jacksonville is seeking a personable team member for the front counter to greet customers and understand their visit. You will interface with Service Technicians to fill parts orders, receive inventory, and restock the sales floor while staying current with Harley training programs.

Join our team to support merchandising, participate in training, promote Help Sell and Motorcycle Referral programs, and act as a brand ambassador for Harley-Davidson.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Superior communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Maintain technical knowledge by keeping current in Harley-Davidson training programs.
• A valid driver license with a clean driving record; motorcycle endorsement is optional.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer at the front counter to begin the interaction and discern purpose of visit.
• Interface with Service Technicians to fill parts and accessories orders, including cost details.
• Receive inventory into the system, process it, and prepare for the sales floor; restock as needed.
• Participate in training to stay current in merchandising and inventory control issues.
• Support, promote, and get involved in Help Sell and Motorcycle Referral programs.
• Act as an ambassador to the dealership and the Harley-Davidson brand.

Essential Functions

• Models the values and guiding principles of our dealership;
• Greet each customer to begin report, and to discern the purpose of their visit (front counter);
• Interface with, and assist, Service Technicians to fill parts and accessories orders to include cost (back counter);
• Receive inventory in the system, process and prepare for the sales floor, restock as necessary;
• Participate in training to remain current in merchandising and inventory control issues;
• Support, promote, and get involved in the Help Sell, and Motorcycle Referral, programs;
• Act as an ambassador to the dealership, and the Harley-Davidson brand.

Job Specifications

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Constantly moves around the parts area for > 75% of shift;
• Frequently operate hand-held, point-of-sale and inventory equipment;
• Occasionally work more than 8-hours per day, and on the weekends;
• Occasionally move or transport objects that weigh > 25-lbs.

Working Conditions:

• Occasionally exposed to loud noises, fumes, and other toxic chemicals.

Position Requirements:
