Job summary

Bergstrom Chevrolet of Appleton is seeking a Parts Consultant to assist guests in identifying the right parts, manage inventory, and process sales efficiently. The role emphasizes strong product knowledge and customer service to support both service and sales teams.

You will handle parts orders, provide technical guidance on part compatibility, and contribute to a high-performing parts department within Bergstrom Automotive, Wisconsin’s largest dealership group.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts sales or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive parts and accessories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail in inventory management and order processing.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Guest service: Assist guests in identifying the correct parts for their vehicles, in-person and over the phone.
• Inventory management: Maintain an organized and up-to-date parts inventory and assist in restocking.
• Sales: Process transactions including cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
• Technical assistance: Provide expert advice on installation and compatibility of parts.
• Problem solving: Address and resolve guest inquiries or issues professionally and timely.
• Team collaboration: Work with service and sales teams; assist technicians with parts orders and delivery.
