Job summary

Tampa Honda, part of Lithia & Driveway, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to provide fast, accurate, customer-focused parts support for retail customers and the Service Department in Tampa, FL.

You will work closely with technicians, handle parts inquiries, stock checks, invoicing, and warranty processing while maintaining an organized counter and stockroom. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic math skills for inventory and invoicing.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, accurate, customer-focused parts support for retail customers and the Service Department.
• Assist with parts inquiries, stock checks, and order processing following ITC/ICC standards.
• Coordinate with technicians to supply correct parts for repairs.
• Receive, inspect, store, and track parts; maintain perpetual inventory.
• Create accurate invoices, process payments, and handle credits.
• Manage core returns, warranty parts, and general returns.
• Maintain a clean, organized counter and stockroom.

What You’ll Do

Provide fast, accurate, customer‑focused parts support for retail customers and the Service Department.

• Customer Interaction — Answer phones, greet customers, and communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person
• Order & Sales Support — Assist with parts inquiries, stock checks, and order processing following ITC/ICC standards
• Service Department Coordination — Work closely with technicians to supply correct parts for repairs
• Inventory & Receiving — Receive, inspect, unpack, store, and track parts; maintain perpetual inventory
• Invoicing & Payment — Create accurate ADP invoices, process payments, and handle credits
• Returns & Warranty — Manage core returns, warranty parts, and general returns
• Work Area Standards — Maintain a clean, organized counter and stockroom
