Job summary

Prestige Toyota of Ramsey is seeking a Parts Advisor to supply vehicle parts and merchandise with superior customer service on-site in Ramsey, NJ. You will collaborate with the Service Team to coordinate parts for repairs and service, answer calls, greet customers, and keep the stockroom organized. A high school diploma is required; 1+ year of parts advisor experience is preferred.

Est. annual earnings range $40,000 to $60,000 depending on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years parts advisor experience.
• Understand basic automotive components and systems.
• Automotive dealership service experience preferable.
• Valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers with exceptional service.
• Answer telephone and greet customers and vendors.
• Maintain clean counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service with the Service Team.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas.
• Take inventory and maintain records of goods received and perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties and returns.

Responsibilities

• As a Parts Advisor you will provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while providing exceptional customer service.
• You will answer the telephone and greet customers and vendors.
• Maintain clean counter, work area, and stockroom.
• You will work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.

• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received and keep perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns.

• Any automotive certifications preferable
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
