Job summary

Greiner Ford of Casper is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team in Casper, WY. You will answer calls, greet customers and vendors, keep the parts counter and stockroom organized, and coordinate parts for service and repairs with the service team.

The role requires at least 1 year in the automotive field, knowledge of basic automotive components, and a valid driver's license. A positive attitude and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in the automotive field
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and greet customers and vendors.
• Maintain a clean counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer request
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed
• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received and keep perpetual inventory controls
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns

What You'll Do
