Job summary

Eide Subaru in Mandan, ND is seeking an enthusiastic parts associate to assist customers and technicians with identifying and selling Subaru parts. You will use VINs, catalogs, diagrams, and dealership systems to ensure correct parts are ordered the first time, while supporting wholesale accounts and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate has experience in auto parts sales, strong organization, and a professional work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience with auto parts sales is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers, technicians, service advisors, and wholesale accounts with parts identification and sales.
• Identify Subaru parts using VINs, catalogs, diagrams, and dealership systems.
• Research and source parts to ensure correct orders the first time.
• Process parts orders, back-orders, returns and credits, and monitor status.
• Support service by ensuring timely delivery of correct parts to technicians.
• Maintain accurate invoices, purchase orders and customer records.
• Assist with wholesale parts sales and maintain relationships with repair shops.
• Answer calls and respond to inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Assist retail customers, technicians, service advisors, and wholesale accounts with parts identification and sales.
• Accurately identify Subaru parts usingVIN's, parts catalogs, diagrams, and dealership systems.
• Research and source parts to ensure the correct part is ordered the first time.
• Prepare and process parts orders, special orders, back-orders, returns, and credits.
• Monitor incoming parts and communicate order status to customers and dealership departments.
• Support the Service Department by ensuring technicians receive the correct parts in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate parts invoices, purchase orders, and customer records.
• Assist with wholesale parts sales and maintain strong relationships with independent repair shops and collision centers.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist customers with product recommendations and Subaru accessories.
• Maintain organized and accurate parts inventory. Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming parts.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor special-order and back-ordered parts.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented, professional appearance and strong work ethic
