Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Bend in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Parts Advisor to help service customers and keep the parts operation running smoothly at our Bend dealership. You’ll greet customers, answer questions, confirm stock, and process parts orders with accuracy and friendliness.

You’ll work with the service team, handle invoices in ADP, manage stock, and ensure proper billing and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to work with physical inventory and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and team members by phone, in person, or email.
• Assist customers by answering questions, checking stock, and taking parts orders.
• Maintain a clean, professional counter, work area and stockroom.
• Coordinate parts for service with the team.
• Order parts from suppliers based on requests.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP.
• Receive, unpack and store parts as needed.
• Check quantity and condition of goods against invoices.
• Check unit costs and total billing accuracy.
• Maintain accurate parts records and perpetual inventory.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns and warranties as needed.

Now Hiring: Parts Advisor Pay: Base + Commission; $3,500 - $5,500 per month Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30am - 5:30pm. Open to discussion for varied schedule, Monday - Friday or rotating Saturday

What You’ll Do

• Answer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and team members via phone, in-person or email.
• Assist customers by answering questions, checking stock availability, and taking parts orders in a quick, friendly and professional manner in accordance with Initial Customer Contact (ICC) process.
• Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area and stockroom.
• Interact with Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP.
• Receive, unpack and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
• Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders.
• Check number and unit cost as well as total billing for charges against proper records.
• Specifies parts accurately.
• Takes inventory, maintains records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary.
