Job summary

Bergey’s Truck Center Reading is seeking a full-time Parts Clerk to coordinate daily inventory, process receipts and invoices, and handle day-to-day clerical tasks in the parts department.

This role requires willingness to learn, professional appearance, and adherence to safety procedures. No prior experience is required, and background checks and drug testing will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage receipts, payables, and invoices from suppliers.
• Responsible for clerical and organizational tasks like file organizing.
• Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
• Put stock away in correct locations.
• Receive and store parts, maintain inventory cycle counts and ensure parts are available when needed.
• Answer telephone dealing directly with customers and vendors.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Willingness to learn job related duties.
• Maintains professional appearance.
