Job summary

IDB Group is seeking an active graduate student for a two-month internship in the Partnerships Solutions Team. Based in Washington, DC, you will assist in identifying strategic alliances and support the Group’s operational work through market research and data analysis.

You will develop country profiles and intelligence briefs while collaborating across teams, with a focus on learning, client service, and professional growth in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Active graduate student in Political Science from an accredited university, graduation after the internship period.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the Partnerships Solution team within the Resource Mobilization Division with tasks including, but not limited to, identifying and developing strategic alliances and potential partnership opportunities in key sectors aligned with IDB priorities and in support of the IDB Group’s operational work.
• Support research and other tasks related to the Bank’s priority areas, particularly climate change; conduct market research; and collect and analyze data on partnership opportunities in IDB member countries, including countries in Asia and Europe, as well as potentially non-member countries, to support the IDB Group’s operational work.
• Assist in the preparation of country profiles and intelligence briefs
