Job summary

The City of St. Louis Mayor’s Office seeks a resourceful Special Projects Coordinator to build partnerships with nonprofit providers, funders, and intermediaries for North St. Louis tornado recovery.

You will lead cross‑functional projects across Recovery Office and City departments, aligning initiatives with program delivery and funding streams. Reporting to the Chief Recovery Officer, you will negotiate scopes, track commitments, and drive milestones from concept through handoff to ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience establishing and sustaining institutional partnerships with external organizations.
• Ability to scope, plan, and drive cross‑department projects from concept to launch.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage partnerships with major nonprofit providers, funders, and intermediaries.
• Align partner capacity to City recovery programs and close delivery gaps.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to design, launch, and hand off new initiatives.
• Maintain records and report progress to leadership.
