Acumen America is seeking a Partnerships and Operations Associate to join our San Francisco-based team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience supporting fundraising, operations, and internal processes. This position is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work schedule, working from the office two days a week.

About The Role

The Partnerships and Operations Associate will help build and support a portfolio of impactful companies addressing poverty. Responsibilities include fundraising, communications, partnership development, event management, financial operations, and strategic projects. The role requires an entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working in a startup environment. You will collaborate closely with the VP of Partnerships and Operations and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnerships/Development Support: Research prospects, prepare donor materials, track fundraising activities, and manage grant reporting.
• Donor Management & CRM: Manage Salesforce and Airtable, update donor profiles, generate reports, and support grant processes.
• Operations: Support daily administrative tasks, financial reconciliation, and process improvements.
• Events & Communications: Plan and coordinate events, manage content and outreach efforts.

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 3 years in fundraising, operations, or related fields.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with or interest in technology solutions and AI tools.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and based in San Francisco.
