Job description

At MWS, we connect global fanbases to the ultimate fan item: game‑used and signed jerseys from the world’s biggest athletes and teams around the world. We accelerate engagement, interaction and revenue by enabling our global customers to bid in real time – live from kick off – for pieces of sporting history through our specialized online marketplace, while raising funds for the causes that matter most to our partners.

With more than 350 partners globally, including the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich, we are the market leader in our category. We’ve built our reputation by consistently delivering innovative fan experiences and unlocking new commercial value for our rights holders. We enhance the sports consumer journey by driving commercial growth, global fan engagement, and social impact for our partners. By evolving from a service provider to a high‑commitment financial partner, we’ve strengthened our network and accelerated our growth.

We’re now expanding rapidly in the U.S. market. With partnerships secured across the NBA, MLS, NWSL, and U.S. Soccer, we are building a high‑impact presence and evolving into a true commercial partner for our clients.

The role

We’re seeking a Partnerships Manager to play a critical role in scaling our U.S. business. Reporting to the Director of U.S. Partnerships, you will own day‑to‑day relationships with key partners while contributing to broader market growth.

You’ll operate at the intersection of partnerships, operations and commercial strategy, managing execution while identifying opportunities to drive performance and partner value.

As part of a high‑performing global partnerships team of 18 spanning five international offices, you’ll collaborate closely with a growing team of U.S. colleagues and international cross‑functional teams across marketing, tech, and finance. You’ll help deliver a seamless partner experience while supporting the continued expansion of MWS in the U.S.

Key responsibilities
  • Partnership Management: Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for U.S. partners, building strong relationships and ensuring the seamless delivery of all contractual assets and digital auctions.
  • Auction & Inventory Management: Manage auction operations and execution, and inventory tracking in collaboration with the US operations team, ensuring accuracy and proof of performance.
  • Commercial Growth: Support the identification of opportunities to increase revenue and enhance partner value.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination: Work with property equipment managers, marketing teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient execution across all touchpoints.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Build partner recap decks and manage internal reporting to track auction and partnership performance and help inform future strategy.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a trusted partner and ambassador for MWS, upholding company vision and standards while building high‑value relationships with partners.
About you
  • Strategic Communication & Influence: Clear, confident communicator who can manage stakeholders and navigate complex relationships.
  • Relationship Management: Builds trust quickly and maintains strong, productive partnerships internally and externally.
  • Problem‑Solving & Adaptability: Proactive and solutions‑oriented, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Organizational Excellence: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commercial Acumen & Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of the sports partnerships and fan engagement, with a track record of driving results.
  • Ownership Mentality: Self‑starter who takes initiative and looks for ways to improve and grow the business.
  • Resilience: Brings energy, persistence, and a “find a way” mindset to challenges.
