StarChefs is looking for a hard-working, cross-disciplined Partnerships & Events Manager to join our team in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If you love restaurants, want ground-level business, sales, and events experience, and can organize a spreadsheet with your eyes closed, this is the job for you.
StarChefs is an essential resource for the restaurant industry. For over 30 years, StarChefs has moved the industry forward with the sole mission to catalyze food and beverage professionals' success by giving them the tools, resources, and support they need to overcome specific industry challenges. StarChefs' original content is driven by hundreds of in-person tastings and interviews each year with the country's top chefs, pastry chefs, bartenders, sommeliers, bakers, chocolatiers, coffee roasters, brewers, and distillers. To further its mission, StarChefs hosts a variety of industry events throughout the year, including its quarterly Rising Stars Awards. The Rising Stars Awards celebrate up-and-coming talent across the country in four rotating markets annually.
As Partnerships & Events Manager, you will work directly alongside the CEO and Managing Director to support StarChefs' sales pipeline and event partnerships, helping keep everything moving from first outreach through on-site execution. Success in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable sending a cold pitch email and standing on-site at an event making sure everything runs smoothly. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment, take ownership of your communications, and know how to keep multiple moving parts organized without dropping the ball. As part of a small but mighty team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the business while developing genuine relationships with some of the country's top food and beverage talent.
