Job summary

Cal State East Bay is seeking a Partnership and Engagement Specialist (Administrative Analyst/Specialist Non-Exempt) to advance the UPWARD workforce development program. The role combines outreach, curriculum coordination, and project management to expand apprenticeship-ready opportunities for students and partners across the East Bay campus.

The position supports hiring/training of embedded peer LAs, collaborates with faculty and external partners, and helps refine teaching strategies to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, education, or related field.
• Experience coordinating programs, partnerships, or workshops in higher education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships with employers, public agencies, alumni, and workforce organizations.
• Organize and promote career events and workshops with external partners and students.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and support of embedded peer learning assistants.
• Contribute to curriculum refinement and instructional coordination for UPWARD initiatives.
