Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Partnership Acquisition Manager to join our mission-driven team at EDMO, a leading educational non-profit specializing in STEAM and SEL expanded learning programs. This position is expected to drive a consistent 10% year-over-year growth in partnership contract revenue. The role involves partnering with school districts and schools across California to co-design custom after-school, intersession, and summer programs that meet community needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic relationship-builder with experience in educational sales, a passion for equity in learning, and a collaborative mindset. Responsibilities include managing RFP submissions, navigating funding streams like ASES and ELO-P, and developing outreach strategies to expand our network.

Key Results (KPIs):

  • Weighted pipeline coverage: 2x annual income goal
  • Annual contracted revenue growth: >10%
  • Contract renewal rate: >90%
  • RFP win rate: >30%

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing RFP responses and proposals, collaborating across departments to meet partner needs.
  • Generating 75% of revenue through successful RFPs with a win rate of ≥30%.
  • Prospecting for new RFP opportunities and tracking all in CRM.
  • Developing proposal content libraries and ensuring compliance.
  • Executing outreach strategies via email, phone, and referrals; achieving outreach and conversion targets.
  • Building and managing sales strategies, participating in conferences, and evaluating ROI.
  • Maintaining and optimizing CRM systems, tracking pipeline metrics, and cultivating new leads.
  • Becoming an expert on key funding streams like ASES and ELO-P, and aligning sales strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in educational sales, nonprofit partnerships, or district relationships.
  • Proven track record of increasing contract revenue >10% annually.
  • Excellent communication skills; RFP experience a plus.
  • Understanding of STEAM and SEL programs; familiarity with California funding sources is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot; strong data skills.
  • Comfort with public speaking and travel; candidates in Northern California preferred.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods, occasionally lift 25 pounds.
