Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a highly motivated Analyst II to join our Partnership Accounting team. The role emphasizes advanced Excel modeling, data integrity, and timely reporting, working with internal partners and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in Accountancy or Finance, 3+ years in accounting/finance, and strong communication skills. The position offers hybrid work between Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO offices with opportunities to leverage tax knowledge and automation tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance is required or strongly preferred.
3+ years of accounting, finance, or related experience.
Proficiency in Excel with advanced formulas and financial modeling.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
CPA designation and/or public accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and enhance Excel models to support reporting and decision-making.
Validate data integrity, investigate discrepancies, and ensure outputs are accurate.
Ensure timely reporting in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to resolve issues.
Prepare and review partner calculations and tax-related schedules.
Document and monitor improvements to processes and controls.
