Job summary

QuadPoint Partners in New York, NY seeks a Senior Associate / Vice President to join its investment team on a partner‑track path. You will work directly with the Managing Partner across the investment process, evaluating GP‑led secondary opportunities and leading due diligence, financial modeling, and transaction structuring.

The role requires 2–5 years of direct investing experience and a demonstrated ability to develop independent investment theses.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of direct investing experience (private equity, credit, hedge fund, or other principal investing).
• Demonstrated track record of underwriting and evaluating a high volume of investments.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including LBO models, fund‑level structures, waterfalls, and complex capital structures.
• Intellectual curiosity, with a genuine interest in complex situations and the ability to work through ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce IC‑ready investment memos.
• High ownership mentality and willingness to operate with entrepreneurial energy in an early‑stage firm environment.
• Unimpeachable integrity and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and evaluating GP‑led secondary, preferred equity, structured credit, and co‑investment opportunities.
• Leading fundamental due diligence on underlying portfolio companies, including market analysis, competitive positioning, financial performance, and management assessment.
• Building detailed financial models, including LBO, fund‑level waterfall, and structured transaction models.
• Developing independent investment views and presenting recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Negotiating and structuring transactions, including financial and governance terms.
• Supporting portfolio monitoring, valuation, and reporting.
• Contributing to firm‑building activities, including fundraising, investor communications, and operational scaling.
