Job summary

Google Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer for the Universal Commerce Protocol within gTech Professional Services. You will support partner integrations and drive API ecosystem improvements across Shopping and related surfaces.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in client-side web technologies and programming, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams. US-based role with multiple locations; compensation shown above.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
• 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-touch technical guidance, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure seamless partner integrations within defined SLAs.
• Gather operational feedback to advocate for product enhancements, bug fixes, and feature improvements with Product and Engineering teams.
• Work with Product and Partner Operations Managers to define, prioritize, and launch new features and internal tools.
• Develop technical documentation and developer tools to streamline onboarding, improve product serviceability, and scale operations.
• Perform implementation reviews and analyze partner data to identify, drive, and maximize growth opportunities using Google technologies.
