Partner Sales Business Development Executive

Location: Alternate Location (Remote, Preferably Midwest or East Coast)

Compensation Range: $222,800 USD - $317,400 USD

The Market Access System Integrators team delivers a scalable strategy with local execution for customer transformation and growth. We are the worldwide go-to-market cross-architecture sales engine, engaging with sellers to fuel growth for customers and Cisco. Our role involves building sales strategies, activating sellers and technical communities, and accelerating sales daily.

The team collaborates with Cisco’s Ecosystem partners to create and deliver innovative solutions, offers, and GTM engagement models that generate business value and revenue. Our focus is on creating profitable growth engines through architectural and vertical market sales approaches.

The Partner Sales Lead for the Global Partner Organization will develop and implement joint vision, strategies, and activities to build and optimize joint GTM efforts for accelerated revenue. Responsibilities include working cross-functionally across Cisco to:

  1. Drive growth with top Market Access Partners through joint selling initiatives.
  2. Align strategies with Cisco’s priorities in AI Ready Data Centers, Future Proof workplaces, and Digital Resilience.
  3. Identify opportunities across hardware, software, and services solutions including AI, Security, Enterprise Networking, aaS, and Managed Services.
  4. Foster co-innovation across architectures and create joint reference solutions.
  5. Serve as SME for joint solutions, partner value exchange, and GTM execution.
  6. Promote how Market Access System Integrators can optimize the channel/partner route to market.
  7. Coordinate segment interlock and communication within Cisco globally.
  8. Advise on process improvements and profitability guidance related to joint solutions.
  9. Provide guidance on offer roadmaps and acquisition integration.
  10. Articulate industry and technical trends, competitive pressures, and features.
  11. Create enablement frameworks and develop business cases.
  12. Influence investment proposals and develop a ‘point of view’ on business trends and partner opportunities.
  13. Develop sales contests, promotions, and demand generation activities.
  14. Promote Cisco’s cross-architecture vision and develop communication plans.
  15. Manage budgets and investments, and implement metrics to meet alliance goals.
  16. Assist with contract management as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience managing complex global projects, programs, or processes.
  • 10+ years in sales, partner, or go-to-market roles.
  • Proven ability to work across cross-functional, global teams.
  • Knowledge of AI Ready Data Centers, Digital Resilience, or Future-Proof Workplaces solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to quickly understand and articulate Cisco’s architectural solutions.
  • Strong executive presence and partner financial acumen.
  • Comfortable working remotely; self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Understanding of AI, security, enterprise networking, and observability.
  • Knowledge of industries like Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Transportation, Smart Cities, Healthcare, Financial Services, or Retail.
  • Domain expertise in networking, software, and services architectures.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills; experience in business development or strategy is a plus.
