Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking a hands-on Partner Operations Manager (Contractor) in San Francisco to grow the plugin ecosystem for ChatGPT and Codex. You will own scalable partner enablement, support models, and cross-functional program workstreams, collaborating with Partnerships, Product, and Marketing.

The role emphasizes executing in ambiguous environments, building repeatable operating models, and leading partner launches across high-touch and self-service tracks through the end of 2026.

Qualifications

Partner Operations Manager (Contractor)

We’re looking for a hands-on Partner Operations Manager to help grow the ecosystem of firms and developers building plugins for ChatGPT and Codex. You'll support improving self-service and scaled operations, direct partner engagement and support, and program management for partner launches.

We’re looking for a hands-on Partner Operations Manager to help grow the ecosystem of firms and developers building plugins for ChatGPT and Codex. You'll support improving self-service and scaled operations, direct partner engagement and support, and program management for partner launches.

This is an execution-heavy role for an operator who can build processes and systems while also doing the work. You'll work most closely with Partnerships, with regular collaboration across Product and Marketing, and take on increasing ownership as you build context. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone comfortable navigating an ambiguous and changing environment. This contract will extend through the end of 2026.

What You'll Own

• Develop scalable partner and GTM enablement—from launch planning and communications to playbooks and self-service resources,in collaboration with Partnerships and Marketing.

• Design and operate a scalable partner support model, including intake, triage, escalation paths, coverage needs, and cross-functional coordination.
• Improve the processes, systems, documentation, and handoffs that help the program scale efficiently.
• Build consistent partner feedback loops, synthesize recurring themes, and turn them into actionable recommendations.
• Manage day-to-day partner relationships and program workstreams, coordinating cross-functional contributors and vendors as needed.
• Run partner launches across high-touch, self-service, and segment-specific programs.
• Translate ecosystem and launch priorities into clear program plans, milestones, operating rhythms, and follow-through.
• Track program health, surface risks, communicate progress clearly, and recommend improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in partner operations, program management, product operations, GTM operations, strategy and operations, or a related field.
• A hands-on operator who is equally comfortable designing a process and executing its day-to-day details.
• Strong program-management skills across multiple partners, launches, and workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to create clear partner-facing and internal materials.
• Sound judgment in ambiguous environments and the ability to influence cross-functional partners
• A systems mindset and a track record of turning manual or inconsistent work into repeatable operating models, including automating processes with AI

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling partnerships or partner-ecosystem operations including scaled outbound, self-service partner programs, partner launches
• Exposure to developer platforms and tooling
• Experience supporting Partnerships, Product, and Engineering teams
• Exposure to AI platforms

Compensation: $60 - $85 per hour
