This role is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-impact influencers and thought leaders in the small business and entrepreneurship communities to become partners of Thryv, and securing strategic partnerships and on-going engagements with these partners. The Sr. Partner Manager, Strategic Partnerships will play a pivotal role in scaling Thryv’s Influencer Partner Program and fueling brand awareness, lead generation, and sales.

Responsibilities

· Identifies and evaluates potential influencers and thought leader partners aligned with Thryv’s brand values and target audience.

· Builds and manages a strong pipeline of candidates, and signs at least 3 new partners per month. Secures at least 3 events, sponsorships, or other lead/sales producing opportunities per month through new and/or existing partners.

· Develops and implements recruitment processes that include marketing strategy, a sales pipeline, and consistent outreach processes.

· Conducts outreach, pitches Thryv’s value proposition, and negotiates mutually beneficial partnership agreements. Builds long-term partner relationships and communication to help secure ongoing events or opportunities for Thryv to generate leads and sales.

· Collaborates with internal teams (Marketing, Solutions, Product, Services, etc.) to develop influencer campaigns and solutions. Works with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to manage partner contracts, invoices, commissions reporting, and partner accounts.

· Represents Thryv at virtual and in-person events where influencer relationships can be identified and nurtured, and/or supports the team in lead and sales production goals.

· Tracks and evaluates influencer performance, ensuring quality lead generation and ROI on partnerships.

Who We’re Looking For

· Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required.

· 5+ years of related experience, required.

· 9+ years of related experience, preferred.

· Experience in channel partnerships in the role of recruiting, marketing, and/or sales (preferably in a SaaS or small business-focused environment).

· Experience in partnerships, influencer marketing, or business development.

· Existing network of relevant influencer contacts in the small business or entrepreneurship space, preferred.

· Background in marketing, communications, and/or event strategy, preferred.

· Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.

· Passionate about small business success and entrepreneurship.

· Strategic thinking skills with the ability to execute tactically.

· Time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities.

· Ability to meet and exceed targets and objectives.

· Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability.

· An ability to have a deep understanding of Thryv’s products and services within 30 days of hire.

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

· Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.

· Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
