Intellectual Property Partner (Partner Level)

A highly regarded full-service law firm is looking to further strengthen its Intellectual Property practice in Boston through the addition of an established attorney with portable business. The opportunity is open to IP litigators and patent prosecution attorneys seeking a strong platform from which to grow their practice, with access to sophisticated clients, complementary practice areas and significant cross-selling opportunities.

The firm is interested in attorneys with an established client following and a demonstrable portable book of business. For litigators, relevant practices may span patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and other complex IP disputes. Patent prosecution attorneys should have an established practice encompassing patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio strategy and broader IP counselling. Existing partners are encouraged to apply, as are senior attorneys with meaningful portable business and the ability to transition into a partner-level role.

For patent prosecution attorneys, USPTO registration and a relevant technical or scientific background are highly desirable, with particular interest in attorneys advising clients across technology, life sciences and other innovation-driven industries.
