IP Litigation Equity Partner (Partner Level)

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $1,000,000 – $1,500,000+ / Dependent on Practice & Portable Business

We are working on a confidential basis with a number of leading Am Law and Vault-ranked firms interested in speaking with established IP Litigation Partners in New York. Opportunities exist across major national and international platforms for partners seeking greater institutional support, stronger cross-selling opportunities, enhanced profitability, or a platform better positioned to grow their existing practice.

Candidates should have a substantive intellectual property litigation practice and a demonstrable portable book of business. Experience may include patent litigation, trade secret disputes, trademark and copyright litigation, technology-related commercial disputes, or a combination of these areas. Particular interest exists in partners representing institutional clients capable of supporting a sustainable practice following a lateral move. Current billing rates, collections, historical originations and the portability of key client relationships will form an important part of the assessment process.

Strong academic credentials and an established reputation within the IP litigation market are preferred. Partners with significant trial experience, sector expertise in technology, life sciences, telecommunications or other IP-intensive industries, and/or opportunities to move with additional attorneys will be particularly attractive.
