Why work for VitalEdge?

We don't just sell technology, we enable transformation that results in broader societal benefits like building homes and critical infrastructure, growing food and delivering all sorts of products we all rely on for daily life. We exist to ultimately equip the world to keep running. We have more than 60 years of combined experience and two industry-leading software suites and associated apps, with which we will drive the market forward. It's an exciting time to work for VitalEdge – join us!

Why Partnerships at VitalEdge?

Partnerships are core to how VitalEdge helps dealers run their businesses. As dealers look to centralize their technology needs with fewer, trusted providers, we’re building an ecosystem of partner solutions — spanning payments, finance automation, and more — that works seamlessly alongside our own products. That only happens through close collaboration, both with our partners and with key internal teams like Engineering and Product, and that’s where you come in: as Partner Integration Lead, you’ll be the critical link making sure our partners’ technology and our internal teams work together flawlessly for the dealers who depend on us.

Position Overview:
  • As the Partner Integration Lead, you will be the primary orchestrator of the technical and functional synergy between our partners’ products and our own.
  • Reporting directly to the VP of Partner Management, you will serve as the essential "bridge" connecting external partner teams with our internal Engineering and Product departments.
  • Your mission is to ensure that all product interfaces and integrations are developed smoothly and delivered on time.
  • While this is not a developer role, it requires a high degree of technical literacy to manage complex workflows and maintain strong partner relationships.
  • Integrations rarely follow a straight line, so this role demands more than coordination — we need someone who thinks outside the box, actively looks for solutions, and is willing to push the envelope, both internally and with our partners’ teams, to deliver partner integrations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration Coordination:
  • Lead the end-to-end coordination of all technical interfaces between partner products and our platform.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners during the discovery, development, and testing phases of integration.
  • Relationship & Communication Management:
  • Maintain and cultivate deep technical relationships with partner counterparts to ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Facilitate communication between the Partner’s product team and our internal Engineering/Product teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and executed.
  • Translate technical milestones and "blockers" into clear business updates for the VP of Partner Management and other stakeholders.
  • Project Management:
  • Maintain and track project timelines, status reports, and documentation for all active integrations.
  • Organize and lead regular "sync" meetings to keep all parties aligned on deliverables and deadlines.
  • Support Coordination:
  • Collaborate closely with the internal support team and external partners to ensure all issues, bugs, or escalations related to the interface are effectively triaged and resolved.
  • Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement:
  • When integrations stall, generate options rather than just reporting status — rescoping, resequencing, phasing rollouts, or proposing interim workarounds that keep delivery on track.
  • Constructively challenge established processes, requirements, and timelines — on both sides of the partnership — whenever a better or faster path to delivery exists.
  • Capture lessons learned from each integration and convert them into reusable playbooks, templates, and process improvements that make every subsequent integration faster.
Required Skills & Education:
  • The "Translator" Skillset:
  • Strong ability to understand technical concepts (APIs, data flows, system logic) and explain them to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in Project Management or Partner Operations, ideally in a software or technology-driven environment.
Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional organizational and coordination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication (essential for managing international stakeholders).
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation.
  • Resourcefulness and inventive thinking — comfortable working through ambiguity and finding a workable path when the standard approach falls short.
  • Constructive assertiveness: the confidence to challenge the status quo and influence stakeholders across internal and partner organizations, even without formal authority.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering,or a related field.
Professional Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in roles such as Partner Success, Technical Project Management, or Business Analyst.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder projects with high attention to detail.
