Job summary

GoodLeap in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and sign Home Improvement Contractor partners and help them access the best loan programs. You will work with the BD team to ensure partner success and growth.

Responsibilities include sourcing new partnerships through inbound and outbound outreach, developing product knowledge, and guiding partners with data-driven insights while collaborating with executives to improve programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development or sales.
• Experience selling to home improvement contractors or distributors.
• Experience selling to homeowners using finance to close deals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with executives.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and sign prospective partners; manage accounts under $2M annually.
• Source new partnerships via inbound leads and outbound outreach.
• Develop deep product knowledge and align customer needs with GoodLeap offerings.
• Collaborate with Directors to ensure partner success and growth driven by BI insights.
• Explain financial products and agreements clearly and position technical issues effectively.
• Engage with executive team to develop and enhance programs.
