Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Partner Growth Insights professional to join our Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract, working a hybrid schedule out of Culver City, CA. You will produce data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and risks across multiple partner platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in subscription-based entertainment, strong analytical skills, and proven experience in partner management and multi-channel program launches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of subscription business management experience in entertainment with strong analytical background.
• Partner management experience.
• Experience launching multi-channel programs with multiple teams.
• Strong analytical acumen; can brief analyses and extract insights from results.
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills; experience crafting Keynote presentations for marketing strategy.
• Passion for digital media distribution, film and TV knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Produce data-driven performance insights for partner platforms to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Maintain full funnel metrics across priority partners (Apple TV, Prime Video, Peacock, Samsung, Roku, LG, MVPDs).
• Track performance vs forecast; explain discrepancies and drive growth initiatives.
• Support partner prioritization and strategy frameworks aligned with business goals (paid plans, revenue, LTV).
• Collaborate with BD, partner marketing, content development, paid media, and analytics to execute programs.
• Develop bundle performance scorecard with market-specific strategy in collaboration with international teams.
• Work with Data Science, Analytics, Acquisition and Retention teams to understand drivers of performance weekly.

Partner Growth Insights|Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant subscription business management experience within the entertainment space with a strong analytical background
• Partner management experience
• Experience in launching multi-channel programs in coordination with several teams
• Strong analytical acumen with ability to both brief in analytical assessments and draw out key insights from results
• You foster and maintain positive relationship management abilities and demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills
• You have strong presentation skills and experience with crafting Keynote presentations for marketing strategy and planning
• Real passion for and knowledge of digital media distribution, film and TV

Partner Growth Insights| Responsibilities:

• Produce data-driven performance insights for Apple TV's third party partners to identify key growth opportunities, risks, and gap closers.
• Maintain a strong command of full funnel metrics across priority partners such as Amazon Prime Video, Peacock Bundle, Samsung, Roku, LG, MVPD partners, and other third-party partnerships.
• Help track actual performance versus forecast, identify reasons for discrepancies, and produce insights that help accelerate growth across key business initiatives.
• Support development of partner prioritization and strategy frameworks tied to business goals (paid plans, revenue, LTV) that flex across living room, SVOD bundle, and hard/soft bundle partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, partner marketing, content development, paid media, and analytics teams to execute programs that drive long term paid plan growth.
• Support development of a bundle performance scorecard, including how strategy differs by market, in collaboration with international teams.
• Work cross-functionally with Data Science and Analytics teams, as well as Acquisition and Retention teams, to understand drivers of business performance on a weekly cadence.
• Help quantify the impact of partner events on business outcomes and support data-informed event decision making.
