Partner – Retained Executive Search (Private Equity Focus)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Compensation: Base salary ($120K–$200K) or draw/commission only. Earn 50% of your billings with either model.

About the opportunity:

We’re partnered with a high-performing, boutique retained search firm exploring exciting growth plans. In 2025, they’re looking to bring in up to 10 experienced Partners.

What's on offer:

• Flexible compensation model: base salary + commission or commission-only (you will take home 50% of billings)
• Proven client pipeline via deep Private Equity relationships
• Autonomy to run searches your way, with full research and execution support
• Collaborative culture with no internal competition or red tape
• Fully remote setup with quarterly in-person meet-ups

About the Firm:

• 80% of mandates are in Private Equity, both at the Fund and Portco level
• Focus on Board, C-suite, and direct report placements ($100K–$500K fee range)
• Average 72-day search close rate
• Recently signed a 30-search agreement with a Fortune 100 company

Your background:

• Proven experience in retained executive search
• Sector experience in Private Equity, Industrials, or Healthcare
• Strong origination and relationship management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire for flexibility and autonomy
