Job summary

EGGER North America in Lexington, NC is seeking a Safety‑focused Particleboard Pre‑Production Operator to safely operate and monitor equipment, support material preparation, and maintain quality and productivity standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

This full‑time 12‑hour swing shift (2-2-3 pattern) offers day and night rotations, a competitive hourly rate, and benefits including health, dental, vision, a 401(k), and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment.
• Perform startups, shutdowns, setups, and product changeovers.
• Conduct quality checks and identify nonconforming material.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate as needed.
