Job summary

You will work across mechanical engineering, surface engineering and material interaction chemistry to improve tool performance in labs and at customer sites worldwide.

The role requires collaboration with process, design, equipment, and field teams and involves travel internationally (10-25%).

Qualifications

• Master or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent areas.
• 3-10 years of hardware development experience in semiconductor manufacturing, semiconductor equipment, vacuum systems, or contamination-sensitive industries.
• Demonstrated hands on working experience operating sophisticated systems similar to semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead particle control hardware engineering investigations for yield excursions and defectivity with hands-on testing and analysis.
• Design precision mechanical components for key modules affecting particle performance.
• Interface with customers and suppliers regarding contamination specifications and corrective actions.
• Travel internationally 10-25% to support upgrades and testing.
