Job summary

SCAN is seeking a GAD Coordinator to lead a team serving members with Medicare Part C and D grievances. You will ensure inquiries are addressed, maintain records, and help identify service improvements.

A background in grievances and strong customer service are essential. As a part of a values-driven nonprofit, you will operate in a partially remote setting, collaborate across departments, and support SCAN’s mission to improve care for older adults.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of related experience in grievances and appeals for a health plan or managed care organization.
• Current or prior experience with Medicare Part C and D Grievances is highly desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of a team of Member Services Representatives.
• Address member inquiries and refer to appropriate service providers.
• Verify member identity, membership status, and entitlement to services.
• Maintain current membership databases and records.
• Suggest new service offerings based on member feedback or coverage gaps.
• Support member retention or renewal efforts.
