PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR

**Currently offering up to a $5k Signing Bonus for this role**

About the Role:

Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Worcester is seeking a PHP Coordinator to join our team. Our PHPs are group-based, short-term programs for individuals requiring a higher level of care. We focus on creating a therapeutic, safe, and supportive environment that promotes emotional and psychological well-being.

The Coordinator assists in the quality and fiscal management of the PHP program. In collaboration with or in the absence of the Assistant/Director PHP, they ensure clinical services comply with regulations and payer contracts. The Coordinator also delivers direct client services, participates in treatment planning, and handles administrative duties.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and conduct intake assessments
• Assess client or family needs and eligibility for services
• Lead and co-lead group therapy sessions based on client needs
• Participate in treatment, dispositional, and discharge planning
• Maintain a caseload appropriate to the program's needs
• Ensure timely and thorough documentation and charting
• Perform de-escalation interventions
• Maintain client confidentiality standards
• Attend supervision and team meetings
• Coordinate transportation, supply orders, and food services as applicable
• Mentor and supervise graduate-level interns, if qualified
• Participate in chart audits
• Prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision
• Communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families
• Make sound decisions in emergencies or with unpredictable clients
• Assess and provide appropriate treatment
• Establish and maintain effective relationships within the agency and community
• Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage the program in the director's absence
• Supervise or mentor interns as qualified and directed

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Nursing, or related field, or PhD. in Psychology
• Current State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or RN preferred (or working towards licensure)
• 2-3 years of psychiatric experience, preferably in community health
• Experience with children, adolescents, or adults in similar settings
