Job summary

Arbour Counseling Services in Worcester, MA, is seeking a Full Time Partial Hospitalization Program Clinician (Licensed Clinician or working toward licensure). The role provides direct services in a group-based, short-term setting designed for higher levels of care.

You will deliver individual, family and group therapy, conduct intakes, and collaborate with medical providers and community agencies to support crisis management and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field is required.
• License Eligible (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT) is required or preferred.
• Experience at a higher level of care (psych hospital, residential program, emergency room) is preferred.
• Fast-paced work environment and crisis management experience required.
• Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills.
• Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight.
• Sensitivity to diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds.
• Good time management and timely record keeping.
