Job summary

New Oakland Family Centers seeks a qualified Associate Partial Hospital Therapist to join our FACE to FACE Partial Hospital Program. This full-time role provides a range of clinical services in a fast-paced acute care setting, including individual, family and group therapies, with focus on evidence-based practices.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery, ensure high-quality care, and support client well-being through careful treatment planning and crisis management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology is required.
• Active current Michigan clinical licensure is required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered therapy including assessments, intakes, individual, family, and group therapy.
• Follow PHP group model to support daily group facilitation and assist Group Facilitators.
• Develop treatment plans and clinical notes timely and accurately.
• Complete discharge planning and coordinate care for continuity of services.
• Manage crisis situations using CPI-approved interventions and CPR if needed, ensuring client safety.
• Maintain communication with clinical and administrative staff.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to grow professionally.
• Meet licensing requirements within the required timeframe.

Education

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology

Active Michigan clinical licensure (LLC, LLMSW, TLLP, LLP)
