Job summary

New Oakland Family Centers in Clarkston, MI seeks a Group Facilitator to deliver high-quality clinical care within the FACE to FACE Partial Hospital Program. You will lead therapeutic groups and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support in an acute care setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, strong communication and empathy, and the ability to manage crises while maintaining professional boundaries. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.
• Mental health experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and facilitate groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to clients.
• Lead and facilitate daily therapeutic groups in FACE to FACE.
• Serve as primary support for group facilitation and safe space.
• Implement treatment plans with a person-centered approach.
• Assist with discharge planning and care coordination.
• Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA-compliant records.
• Communicate with clinical and administrative staff.
• Maintain professional boundaries and handle crises calmly.
• Attend team meetings and support a collaborative environment.
• Demonstrate learning mindset and respond to feedback.
