Brandywine YMCA is seeking a part-time Personal Trainer at the Brandywine YMCA Family Location in Wilmington, DE. The role focuses on guiding youth and families toward fitness success and helping members achieve health goals through structured programs and personalized sessions.

You will lead safe, engaging workouts, tailor plans, and monitor progress while building strong member relationships and contributing to retention goals.

Qualificações

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR & First Aid Certified.
• Bachelor's Degree in exercise science or related field or nationally recognized personal trainer certification (ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NASM or NSCA) preferred, but others accepted as deemed appropriate.

Responsabilidades

• Attend and actively participate in all training as assigned.
• Leads energizing, fun, safe programs, as directed by the supervisor, to accomplish established department goals and KPI’s.
• Leverage available technology to enhance client results and experience.
• Actively build client base and meet established retention goals.
• Maintain timely and effective communication with the client including but not limited to scheduling session count and follow up.
• Design and demonstrate exercise programs to minimize injury and promote fitness.
• Monitor and assess client progress, provide motivation, keep accurate records of completed sessions.
• Builds effective, authentic relationships with members; helps members connect with each other and the YMCA.

Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field
