Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Previous driving experience
• Pass an annual MVR check
• Bus driving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Transports youth and staff in a campus van.
• Coordinates and completes assigned transportation responsibilities according to regular schedule.
• Performs proper maintenance and keeps transportation vehicles clean; reports maintenance needs and safety conditions.
• Monitors and supervises youth behaviors; provides corrections as needed; ensures seatbelts are worn.
• Communicates with staff regarding individual youth needs and progress.
• Administers first aid in the event of an accident.
• Monitors environment and ensures safe, secure conditions for youth.
• Ensures safety per policies during outings and reporting guidelines.
