Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in compliance, risk management, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or program administration preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; able to learn Volunteer Matters and In Case of Crisis.
• Experience in youth-serving organizations or YMCA settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Emergency Action Plan contacts and ensure branch information stays current.
• Audit child protection training completion and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Monitor volunteer certifications and background checks; update the credentials dashboard.
• Review incident reports for accuracy and escalate concerns per policy.
• Prepare monthly compliance updates for leadership and board committees.
