Job summary

Management & Training Corporation is seeking a part-time staff member to join the Clearfield Job Corps Center in Clearfield, UT. This role involves supporting youth through center-sponsored activities, healthy recreation, and educational programs, with a wage of $17.20 per hour and a flexible schedule that totals 20 hours per week.

You will monitor and plan diversified programs, supervise off-site and on-site activities, chaperone events, and help enhance student retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience working with youth required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. CDL preferred, but encouraged, travel pay difference when driving only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, plan, and direct students engaged in center sponsored activities both on and off center.
• Put your fun and creative skills to use to teach healthy and fun extracurricular activities.
• Plan, implement and coordinate a diversified program that will attract voluntary participation.
• Chaperone students to recreation functions both on and off center.
• Plan and conduct various activities to enhance student retention and meet all students' needs.
• Participate in Career Development Services System (CDSS) by creating positive peer leadership and role modeling techniques through activities both on and off center.
