Job summary

The Salvation Army Houston Northwest Corps is seeking a Part Time Youth Program Aide to support after-school and community activities for Center members, Monday through Friday 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities include preparing youth for success, developing and implementing programs, and ensuring safe transportation and facility maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; prior work with Children and Youth preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record; CDL may be required if applicable.
• Experience in youth programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Youth for Success: create an environment for youth development outcomes and promote program participation.
• Program Development and Implementation: develop, oversee, and evaluate programs and services; prepare activity reports.
• Driver Role: safely transport members; ensure safety and supervise behavior during transport.
• Facility & Equipment Management: maintain facilities and report repairs and janitorial needs.
