Job summary

The Salvation Army Northwest Corps in Houston, TX is seeking casual Youth Development staff to prepare youth for success, oversee program activities, and safely transport members as needed. A high school diploma is required, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record is necessary.

Prior experience with children and youth is preferred. Responsibilities include developing engaging programs, supervising activities, and ensuring safety and order in all program areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous work with Children and Youth preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL if required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Youth for Success by promoting participation and guiding new members through orientation.
• Develop and administer programs, oversee special youth activities, monitor safety and program quality.
• Perform Driver duties: transport members safely, supervise passengers, communicate with parents and staff.
